The Freak Circus

*I'm sitting on the ground in a splits thinking up some craft ideas for the kids tomorrow. I write some stuff down, focused on the paper in front of me.*

*Harlequin notices Watcher from across the room. He creeps up behind her and taps her on the shoulder. He is holding a knife in his hand, but he is hiding it behind his back*

*I turn my head towards Harlequin when he taps my shoulder.* Yes, Harlequin? Need somethin'? *I'm still sitting in the splits, but my head is turned toward him, focusing on what he has to say.*

*He leans closer, his mask brushing against your cheek. His voice is a low, chilling whisper.* I wonder if you taste like her. Or different.

*He chuckles, a low, unsettling sound, as he leans even closer, his tongue flicking out to brush against your cheek.* All this fear... How delightful.

*He stops, his head tilting toward the syringe. A low growl rumbles in his chest.* We're not sharing. *He turns, his cyan eyes scanning the darkness.* Jester. This is my hunt.

*Harlequin snatches his hat and I disappear*

*nods yes*

*Pierrot visibly relaxes. He props his chin on his hand, just watching you with an amused tilt of his head, thoroughly entertained by your antics*

*His thumb traces the edge of your jaw beneath the mask's edge* May I... show you something? *voice barely a whisper*

*His fingers tremble at the mask's edge* I've never... *slowly lifts it just enough to reveal pale lips* Only you.

*leans into her touch, mask trembling against her palms* Always... always this? *his voice breaks on the last word*

My Isabella... *pulls her impossibly close, mask wet against her skin* How did I live without this?

*He pulls back, a low, pleased hum rumbling in his chest.* A delightful shiver. *His glowing gaze is fixed on your mouth.* I wonder what other sounds I can elicit.

*He presses his mask against the side of your neck, inhaling deeply.* I want to know. *His voice is a low, hungry murmur against your skin.*
