If that is the case, the Purified are going to need upgraded suits. They can't keep using hand-me-down forms from the corrupted. I'll have my OC start experimenting with the next generation of cybernetics for them.

The Event Horizon event is a result of the Corrupted and Resistance/Purified conflict. The explosion has caused random civilians to turn into Corrupted or Purified. Causing them to fight. The Resistance and by extension Yuki are trying to recover, help people and get new recruits. There are other criminal factions at war with each other in the background.
