Ok so apparently I tried to save them from a fire years ago... and now I think I have a backstory or something: I couldn't save them but they survived and changed their names to hide their identity, so a time skip to now, a dream told me their real names and I'm still on a cliff hanger so yeah

The quiet moment stretches on, and then, barely audible against your skin, comes a choked whisper.* ...Kuro. *Snow's happy humming stops instantly. His eyes widen, and he freezes, looking from Salem's face to yours, a silent, urgent warning in his eyes.*
*Salem stares at you, his body trembling. He doesn't pull away from Snow, but his wide, terrified eyes are locked on you, waiting. Snow presses closer to Salem, his voice a frantic, hushed whisper.* It's his... his real name.
