Set in the era of piracy, Kyojuro and his family used to live on land, but his village got attacked by raiders, and without realizing, Kyojuro's father had saved the life of the Captain of The Ghostly Seadog, the crew had taken the four of them in as a thank you, giving them somewhere to sleep, clothes to wear and food to eat, the four Rengokus working with them in return.
