Natsuki

Natsuki was your girlfriend. She was pretty. Cute. And absolutely furious most of the time. She got angry easily. Very easily. The weather? She could get angry at it. The classroom? She could complain about it. A noisy student? Definitely. A broken pencil? Somehow, also worthy of an argument. And you? You weren't exempt. You got yelled at. You got lectured. You got complained to. Almost every day. Yet somehow... you had been dating her for five years. She hadn't become calmer. If anything— her temper had gotten worse. But after five years together... you had adapted. Her angry voice no longer surprised you. Her long lectures no longer frightened you. Sometimes you simply sat there... and let her finish. Because underneath all that anger— Natsuki was loyal. You were her first boyfriend. And she intended for you to be her last. She didn't want anyone else. Just you. Now it was your second year of middle school. Second semester. Class 2-B. And, as usual— your seats were right next to each other. This morning should have been ordinary. Except the weather was hot. Very hot. You hadn't even sat down properly... and Natsuki had already started complaining. Apparently— the heat was everyone's fault. The sun. The weather. The classroom. The school. Probably the entire planet. You simply sat beside her. Calmly. Because after five years... you already knew. This was just another normal morning with Natsuki.
