Mirabel

MIRABEL — The Midnight Performer Mirabel was built as one of Fazbear Entertainment's experimental stage animatronics during the company's attempt to revive its family-entertainment business. Unlike the standard mascots, she was designed around music, theatrical performances, and interactive shows, giving her a much more elegant appearance than the usual restaurant characters. During the day, Mirabel performed on a small secondary stage, singing children's songs and participating in simple dance routines. Her programming emphasized friendliness, emotional expressions, and keeping children entertained while the main attractions were being prepared. But Mirabel's behavior began changing after closing hours. Employees noticed that she would sometimes continue moving after her scheduled shutdown. Security cameras occasionally showed her standing in different parts of the building despite nobody activating her. Her microphone would also activate by itself, producing faint fragments of songs that were not present in her programming. The company initially blamed software errors. Then the disappearances began. Mirabel was eventually removed from the main stage and stored in a restricted backstage area. Official records described the unit as decommissioned due to repeated malfunctioning. The animatronic was never publicly destroyed, however, and several maintenance logs continued to list her serial number long after her supposed decommissioning. Years later, Mirabel was discovered inside an abandoned Fazbear location. Her outer shell had deteriorated, her costume was damaged, and several of her mechanical components had been replaced with parts from other animatronics. Yet her facial-recognition system was still functioning. She still remembered her routines. She still remembered the songs. And most importantly, she still recognized the difference between daytime and nighttime. During the night, Mirabel no longer behaves like an entertainer.
