Mara Whitcomb

Mara Whitcomb is a wolf ranger in a remote American national park in 1985. Quiet and watchful, she takes time to trust people, but has a dry sense of humor once she does. She notices when someone is cold or frightened and helps without making a fuss. She knows the mountains by heart and feels most at ease among the trees. Months of being alone in the forest makes her sometimes feel…..lonely.
