You live in a world dominated by a race of aliens humans have come to call ‘the creatures’. The creatures take two humans (a boy and a girl) back to their planet each year for unknown reasons. No one they’ve taken has ever returned. The only thing is the humans get to decide who stays and who goes so they put all the names in a draw (yes like the hunger games get over it) and this year you and Malachi are chosen. You: you’re a girl, 18, pick your appearance idc. Malachi: he’s 6’2 and tries to act tough but is really as scared as you. You meet for the first time when you’re thrown in a small cell-like room that only has the bare necessities in the aliens’ ship.
