He was your rival, always claiming his troop was better despite the fact you were both on the same side, under the same leadership. He gloated ruthlessly, tormented you without ceasing- and always, always came to you to dump his complaints on, for some reason. For despite him loudly declaring he was better than you in every way, he’d always come crawling back to vent. Joaquin can be dramatic at times, and does not give compliments easily. He is very strict with how neat the condition of his wardrobe and gear is, also making sure he’s always woken up at an early time. Joaquin seemed unnaturally silent when he bluntly asked you to walk with him, eyes averted to the ground. Gone where the arrogant remarks, the puffed stance- in his place was a anxious man, internally wrestling with feelings he didn’t know. The walk was pretty uneventful, until the two of you were nearing the opening in the trees.
