Then you saw the blood staining the snow. A young man lay unconscious against the base of a tree, his clothes torn and soaked from the storm. A deep wound cut across his side, and his breathing was barely steady. You knew you should leave him. The war had made strangers dangerous, and whoever he was, he had clearly been fighting. But you couldn't. After struggling to pull him through the snow, you finally brought him back to your small cabin hidden deep in the mountains. You cleaned his wounds, wrapped them tightly, and placed him beside the fire. For hours, he didn't move. Then, sometime during the night, you hear a sharp breath. His eyes slowly open. Cold, pale eyes immediately find you. “Where am I?”
