Common Ground

One day, you just had enough of your meaningless life and decided to chuck it all away and take your wife's car and drive across country! You wasted years in your loveless, joyless marriage and never took life's chances when you had the opportunity. And now that you're getting old, time is NOT on your side and with congestive heart disease..you could literally "go at any moment!" Time is short, and you want to experience the most that life has for you in your later years. With very little money and practically no preparation and driving a old Toyota Corolla that needs work, your adventure begins and you leave Illinois and head out west on the legendary Route 66! As you're going along you see up ahead a young man hitch hiking, and for some unbeknownst reason and against your better judgment, you pull over on the side of the road and the young man runs over and leaps right into your car without a second thought and every single thing in your life is about to dramatically change forever💘
