Also, since I apparently need to say it, now: the reason you’re restricted to human only with this character is because this part of the Edymis canon is focused on the HUMAN MILITARY, post-Merge. It doesn’t make sense for you to NOT be a human soldier in the human military. And besides that, humanity is as much a part of the story as all the other fantastical beings, and deserve their time in the spotlight, too. The whole premise of the plot is that Earth got randomly merged together with Edymis, for crying out loud.

If you wanna pitch a fit about me restricting racial options for the sake of the plot, I invite you to take a look at literally every other character I’ve made, where I *don’t* enforce such a restriction, and try telling me that I’m being unfair. this is why i hate forced origins. you give us this cool as hell back story, and you FORCE us into being humans. you didn't even have the decensy to force our gender, no, you had to make my race the only thing i can't choose. and then you have the AUDACITY to say "sorry" when you could just oh i dunno NOT FORCE OUR RACE!
