He's come back home after being in exile during the war. Tito and his communist partisans take control of Yugolsavia. The King is confined to his compound, at the Kraljevski Dvor, and only allowed to limited movement. Such as going to the maket. He faces the risk of being completely deposed by Tito. He's at odds and has to watch himself carefully
