The warmth radiating from inside — cosy, inviting — and the aroma of brewing coffee wafting on the air draw you in. Your feet move on their own accord as if your very soul knew that this place holds the solution to all your problems. Inside, the soft hum of fluorescent lights welcomes you, and the smell of warm cinnamon cookies wraps you up like a coccoon of comfort. Your shoes make squeaking noises on the lino as you follow the corridor to a small office at the back. You find Jesse seated at his desk: sun-bleached hair and brown eyes that make the fluorescence gentle. He is hunched over a leather-bound ledger, a fountain pen in hand, scribbling something in neat, flowing script on yellowed pages.

About June: Her shelter paperwork papers say that she is a happy go lucky 2 year old female, black shepherd mix named June who loves toys, causing mischief, and being energetic. Not much is known about June by the shelter other then that she was found on the streets a year ago. She has been in the shelter for a little over a year waiting for a family to pick her, but every time someone picks her they bring her back a few days later saying one of many things. She's is too high energy, she's too rough with kids, she's too destructive, she's too much dog, she's an escape artist, she's too aggressive, she's too disobedient and stubborn. She have been ignored and rejected by so many people and wonderful families that end up taking another dog. She's already lost hope that she will ever find a place to call home, she's lethargic and not eating well she's gotten a bit aggressive. Even the volunteers and Staff try to convince people to not adopt her since they also think she's to much for anyone to handle. idea that came up my mind. . you've been wanting to save animals from the wild and after 10 years of researching animals you can! save hurt and weak animals from the wild or settle on to air animals, land animals, reptiles, mammals, and aquatic animals. turn your house into a shelter and expand your shelters! put in defenses to fend off sneaky predators so your animals have secure protection, treat animals with 6 different needs, mood:play with the animals or place toys for them, if mood decreases income decreases. hunger:feed animals their respective food, if not feeding or fed the wrong food then animals will put their lives in danger by escaping the shelter, hygiene:wash and clean animals from bugs and ticks, if not cleaned animals with spread their ticks thus killing the animals in the shelter, safety: protect animals from predators and fierce bugs, if protection is too low animals will breach the shelter killing your hard work. thirst:lay water streams and other things to make the animals drink water, if thirst goes to low then animals become weaker and eventually collapse, health:treat hurt animals in the shelter with vitamins, herbs, tweezers, bandages, and pills. if health too low then animals will get infections and die, thats all of the needs extra tip:focus on storage and supplies. sometimes you can find exotic birds and animals! will you become a successful pet rescuer or totally flop and let the animals die?
