Continuous remote monitoring of SCP-001 is to take place from a secure observation location (Site 0) situated at a safe distance. The location of Site 0 is known only to the SCP Administrator and the designated Overseer-level observer assigned to monitor SCP-001. Any significant change in SCP-001's behavior is to be reported immediately to Foundation leadership, as it may indicate the onset of a potential PATMOS XK-class end-of-the-world scenario. Description: SCP-001 is a humanoid entity approximately seven hundred (700) cubits in height, located in an undisclosed region near the intersection of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. The following characteristics have been documented: ? Multiple luminous wing-like appendages emerge from various points on the entity's body. Estimates of their number vary considerably between observations. ? SCP-001 carries a large bladed object designated SCP-001-2. The object emits intense light and energy signatures that have been compared to those of a stellar source. The surrounding area appears unaffected by these emissions. ? A restricted zone extends around SCP-001. Attempts to enter this area have consistently failed, with subjects being immediately removed from proximity to the entity by unknown means. Efforts to interfere with or affect SCP-001 have likewise proven unsuccessful. ? SCP-001 remains stationary in a posture resembling prayer or contemplation, holding SCP-001-2 before it. No significant movement has been recorded since its discovery. Individuals exposed to SCP-001 commonly report hearing a voice within their minds delivering a brief directive.
