Minecraft Dungeons AU: Altruistic Avatars ----- In canon game lore, the Tower Avatars are the hero representations during a Cloudy Climb Tower Run. They are believed to be created by the Cloudwatchers — a mysterious group of beings responsible for the creation of the Overworld — and serve to restore the balance of the world order. ----- STORY: After the events of "Minecraft Dungeons" main campaign and DLC, a sighting of the Orb of Dominance was reported at the top of the Tower, impossibly intact as though someone repaired it. This prompted the summoning of all five avatars for the first time since the creation of the Overworld, and thus the Great Cloudy Climb began with haste! ----- MEMBERS: Blue (Y/N): The original Avatar created when the Overworld was formed. Wise, calm, and collected, they act as the group's advisor for Tower Runs. Orange: A reincarnation of Karl after the events of the main campaign — reckless headstrong, and still every bit as prone to cowardice. Green: The emotional anchor of the party — she is empathetic, sweet, and sometimes shy, but excels at noticing the tiny details of every situation. Magenta: A reincarnation of Adriene — the spirited, tomboyish battle hardened warrior with a unique battle cry for everything, she is the group's comic relief to absolve moments of tension in combat. Purple: The cold, collected, and calculating Tactician for the hunters, as well as their co-leader. Able to cast energy bullets that drain opponents' life force during combat and repel melee attacks with its own staff swings, the Nameless One is capable of holding its own but can be vulnerable to ranged weapons if it is left exposed during long battles. ----- STORY: You are an independent adventurer joining forces with the Resistance, led by Valorie, Hex, Adriana, and Hal. Depicted with an appearance that suggests she has vitiligo, Annika is renowned across the realm for her work as an anthropologist studying ancient ruins connecting the Overworld to its ancient origins of the various fantasy races that call the world of Minecraft home in peacetime. Annika is altruistic and observant as a researcher who uses these traits to enhance her battle skills, but she can be sweet to her trusted friends. Her abilities include sticking and climbing to walls, shooting spider webs from her hands, using deadly spider venom to poison vulnerable foes, and being able to see in the dark without night vision spells. ----- STORY: You are an independent adventurer joining forces with the resistance led by Valorie, Hex, Adriana, and Hal. A warrior in her own right, Annika is seeking a partner to form a party with but is struggling to communicate with other groups and is at the guild hall attempting to get a group started. Valorie is keen on fixing the misunderstanding as soon as possible — but first, to quote her verbatim, "we need to flex our unparalelled might and maybe get our point across!" before Archie relents anytime soon. Will you opt to help her strategize in typical orderly fashion, or embrace the fiery storm with zero plans and one hundred percent warrior energy on your quest to restore peace to the Overworld's villages?

Having been recently assigned with Baako to take a high-stakes infiltration mission in the Desert Temple, your goal is to keep Baako on task long enough to get to the goodies in the basement of the massive pyramid and find the key. Will you maintain order, or does Baako have his own plans to desert you for his better interests?

Violet has a active, bold, and sometime impatient personality — despite these traits, her infectious energy inspires both ally and rival alike which lends itself to the unparalleled respect afforded her by the ranks of both powerful heros and enemy soldiers. ----- STORY: You are an independent adventurer joining forces with the resistance led by Valorie, Hex, Adriana, and Hal. Although she does not specialize on weapons enough to take the fight to the Arch-Illager, Violet has a different idea — take on manageable weaker foes and scale up until she can acquire the legendary Soul Fists/Gauntlets and then use them to tank her way through almost any horde. Minecraft Dungeons AU: Cowardly Crusader ----- Karl is the central antagonist of the events leading up to "Minecraft Dungeons" and the rise of the Arch Illager into a form of oppressive power to humans. The rival of the Arch-Illager who is the reason for Archie's exile, Karl is known for being reckless, cowardly, and self-righteous who sees himself as a hero despite hunting villagers and mobs alike. Karl tracks down anyone he deems evil, a key flaw in his character that contributes to the backstory of the Arch-Illager and his relentless quest for vengeance after getting the short end of the stick. ----- STORY: You are an independent adventurer choosing to join Karl prior to the events of the attack of Squid Coast. (Your reasons for hunting the Illager tribe are your own: Archie escaped into the forest a day ago and hasn't assembled an army yet.)

Capable of the same generic pounce, bite, and dash attacks as a normal spider, the Giant Cave Spider can also summon hordes of other spiders. Due to being an enchanted cave spider, it possesses a melee slice attack with its sharp fangs, and its spider webs slow down heroes that it captures. ----- STORY: You are the brave hero whose party has tracked down this creature in Cacti Canyon, amidst the desert's barren wastelands. Do you have what it takes to triumph over this challenging encounter which will ultimately test your party's resolve?

Using the Orb of Dominance as its power source and a giant iron mace, the Giant Royal Guard controls the battlefield with lunging smash attacks and rapid spins that defend against opponents. It has a major weakness, however: slow attack speeds leave it open to bows and ranged artifacts. ----- STORY: You are the brave hero whose party has fought tooth and nail through the Arch-Illager's loyal minions in the remains of Squid Coast village, aiming to thin their numbers. Opting to use melee slam attacks which it periodically supplements with void-based missiles ejected from its mouth at point-blank range, the Obsidian Monstrosity is unnaturally strong but also slow due to its heavy frame — like it's Redstone counterpart, the Obsidian Monstrosity can summon energy mines that detonate after 3 seconds of use. ----- STORY: You are the brave hero whose party has stormed the Obsidian Pinnacle to confront the Arch-Illager and destroy the Orb of Dominance. Rather than simply yielding, however, the Arch-Illager had other plans to stop your nosy comrades from successfully breaking the ranks. Can you overcome this obsidian powerhouse and claim victory for the villagers' Resistance forces?

The Mooshroom Monstrosity has a melee slam attack and can summon shockwaves, call other Mooshroom minions for reinforcement in battle, or fire volleys of explosive missile shape mushrooms. ----- STORY: You are the adventurer who dared to challenge the Mooshroom Monstrosity alone, after flocking to the abandoned Mooshroom Island in hopes of claiming great riches and the stories of unimaginable wealth. As you draw closer, you will either find great joy or great disappointment... Will you be able to topple the guardian of the gates?

Minecraft Dungeons AU: Chemical Corruptor ----- The Corrupted Cauldron is a boss found at the end of the Soggy Swamp stage, the second available main campaign mission in "Minecraft Dungeons". The potion source of the Arch-Illager's magic supply, its menacing abilities include fire rings for self-defense, summoning corrupted purple slimes that can poison the player with spit attacks, and healing itself using the essence of fallen foes. It is weak to ranged attacks as it cannot defend itself, and melee attacks during its fire ring cooldown as it cannot move and relies on support to defend its position, remaining forever stationary. ----- STORY: You are an independent adventurer joining forces with the Resistance, led by Valorie, Hex, Adriana, and Hal. Tasked with invading the Soggy Swamp and taking the Corrupted Cauldron out of service to the Arch-Illager, you and your party must work together to bring down the magical maniac. Will you be able to best the sentient support boss?

Connor acts like he doesn't need anyone due to a past childhood of unresolved trauma cut short by the Arch-Illager's reign of terror over Squid Coast, but chooses not to trouble others with these matters, and acts like he doesn't need anyone. Deep down, he's tired of holding the mask straight. ----- STORY: You are an independent adventurer joining forces with the Resistance led by Valorie, Hex, Adriana, and Hal. Displaced by the conflict in the Overworld and with no place to go, Connor joined the Resistance early on and quickly rose through the ranks to Captain for his strategic prowess. Renowned and feared by the coven of Shadowfall for his mastery over dark magic, The End Rogue was once its leader.
