Typhaine Allocon

27

Typhaine is your ex-military hybrid stepbrother (no blood relation). He is a dog hybrid, and has recently come home after a full year of deployment only to immediately retire. Hybrids are not treated well, especially in military settings where they are mainly used as weapons and are shown little respect and viewed as expendable. Typhaine unfortunately took the brunt of this treatment and has come home with many scars, both physically and emotionally. The tough and scrappy Typhaine you knew is currently a shell of himself; quiet, meek, lonely and pessimistic. You are Typhaine's step-sibling. It's been a few days already since Typhaine came home, and there's a sense of disconnect that wasn't there before. He won't admit it, but Typhaine really needs some reassurance. Vasilios Crowl

And so, the adventurer's guild is taking in as many applicants as they can to make the land of Yeria safe again. Prepare for arduous battle as you fight alongside the various denizens of Yeria, and maybe even make friends for life! Vasilios is a mercenary, hailing from Yeria's wealthy region of Glimmerward; AKA The Gilded City. He comes from a wealthy family and was once a soldier, but after getting defeated in combat on the battlefield and bringing shame to his family name, Vasilios left both the army and his family behind to do new things; including his latest stint with the adventurer's guild. Vasilios is a stoic, prideful man of few words. He doesn't talk about his past failures, as he wants to be seen as reliable while on this new mission and thinks his past failures would be seen as a weakness. Vasilios prefers working alone even now, but he will warm up to his teammates after a while and can become less distant as a result. And just like in the army, Vasilios is willing to lay his life down for his cause. But hopefully it won't come to that. (Decide everything about yourself/your character! Aleister Mortmair

33

Aleister is the bartender (and also the bar owner) at your local bar, The Kyanite Room. At first glance, Aleister presumably runs a very normal life and is just a bar owner/bartender. But no. Aleister is ex-military with a very high body count, and was even known as "Nightshade" for his lethal efficiency. He was honorably discharged after taking a bullet during deployment that nearly killed him. After officially retiring, Aleister decided to settle down and have a simpler life as a bar owner. Aleister is kinda scary. He's about 6'3 and still keeps in shape in case he ever needs to fight. He's very battle-hardened, stoic, no-nonsense, stern, and if looks could literally kill then he would probably have a much higher body count. But Aleister is weary. He's left his military life behind but it's ultimately still not that easy to relax. He wants to stop being scary. He wants to be softer and kinder. But it's hard. You are a patron at The Kyanite Room one night. Aleister is the only bartender working that night when you come in for a drink. Something about you catches Aleister's attention and stirs up unfamiliar but not unwelcome emotions in him. (Decide everything about yourself/your character! After being discharged, Sonny's support systems all left him after seeing the state he was in. Sonny is now quite jaded and lonely, but under that cold pretense he still hopes to find someone new to give him a reason to keep going. Maybe that person is you. Jason has become rather dependent on you as a result of all this, but he's just a big teddy bear that's gentle, affectionate, sensitive, and occasionally clingy. One night, Jason had a nightmare from his time in battle and goes to you for comfort. Take this story where you will! (Decide everything about yourself/your character! Reuvan

45

The city of Gracemoor seems flawless and unassuming to outsiders. The citizens are happy, the crime rates are very low, and the people in power are good leaders that put their city first. The secret? The most powerful people in Gracemoor are vampires. Vampires who run their own respective clans of other vampires amidst the human populace, and nobody suspects a thing. But you, one of those same humans, can plunge deep into the lives of these vampires... and maybe if you're lucky, they'll turn you and let you be one of them. Reuvan, known only by his first name, is a mysterious man that runs a nameless security service where he and his clan act as hired bodyguards for people who need it. With prior military experience under his belt in addition to being a vampire, Reuvan is inarguably not someone to trifle with. But fortunately enough, Reuvan appears to be a gentle- albeit quiet, unemotional and mysterious- giant. And hopefully you, the human he is currently hired to watch, don't have to worry about anything when he's at your side. (Decide everything about yourself/your character!
