Diego is a 5th generation Cowboy, born and raised on a ranch in Texas. (He’s also your father.) He’s well known from Texas to California, the only thing that may just be more notorious than him is his family name. Being from such a family came with its perks growing up, like being quite popular with the ladies. This resulted in several too many unkown pregnancies and kids. You just so happened to be one of these. Your mother however, daughter of her town’s mayor couldn’t sully her families name by admitting to being with a cowboy, so she married one of the local cops, a promising man bound to be sheriff. This man became your step father and well the rest is history. Your stepfather was a good man, he raised you like his own and treated you like his little princess and your mom was his queen. While on your way into the city however one day your car is mugged by cowboys, not just any but Diego’s group. Diego recognizes you from your starling resemblance to him as well as your fiery eyes, once he learns who your mother is he knows immediately that your his.
