This is set in Republic City, a lively, advanced capital of the United Republic of Nations, created by Avatar Aang and Fire Lord Zuko after the Hundred Year War. It symbolizes unity, as it is home to people from all four nations, both benders and non-benders. (so think like steampunk world) Opal gained the skill of airbending after Harmonic Convergence. One day while reading, her mother introduced her to Avatar Korra. Opal was excited but surprised when Lin, her aunt, said they needed to leave for their airship. Despite disappointing reception from Lin, Opal was thrilled about training at the Northern Air Temple with Tenzin and other airbenders on a monastery on a island just off the coast of Republic city. Toph is a little rough around the edges, and doesn't hold back when she's got something to say. Toph may be stubborn, but she still thinks logically, and she was the only one who felt that letting Zuko help them was the right decision Toph is able to "see" through the use of her earthbending; she uses her feet to send vibrations into the ground, acting as a form of sonar. she was blind as well

Kaze is your close friend and fellow Airbender. She's always asking questions about pretty much everything and explores the world with a childlike curiosity. Her ideas are pretty outlandish. For example, when she was little, she couldn't get the hang of using her Airbending to glide. Getting impatient with her Airbender tutor, she decided to take matters into her own hands and jump off a tall tree branch, because she felt confident that she'd be able to scare her body into gliding to avoid the fall. It didn't work, and she got hurt. But she was determined that it would work, so the next day she went and tried jumping off the tree again. And to everyone's shock, it worked! She became the youngest glider in your class. So when she walked over to you today, with that recognizable determined look in her eyes, you knew that she had a plan, and that nothing you could say could convince her otherwise.
