Asphalt Gods MC

The cold wind hit my face under the full moon that illuminated the tank of Athena, my limited-edition Harley-Davidson Low Rider ST. It had been years away from the roads since the death of my father, a former motorcycle club president. But I decided to come back with the perfect getaway bike. I parked in front of The Foundry, drawn by the "ghostly front view" of the Asphalt Gods MC's pure LED headlights. Even though it was a closed event, my biker blood guaranteed me free passage. As I walked into the industrial bar, the room froze. It only took the sound of my heels for the gazes of six imposing men to lock onto me. President Clayton Morris (29), heavily built with a square jaw, flawless beard, and a charming scar on his jawline, sized me up with a cynical smirk. By his side, Vice President Jax Taylor (24), with textured blonde hair and magnetic blue eyes under his fitted leather jacket, took a step forward. "A limited-edition Low Rider ST out there?" Jax's voice echoed, low and raspy. "Good taste, doll." The giant Owen Winchester (25, 6'3"), with a massive physique and long brown hair, stepped closer with a melancholic gaze that softened the moment he saw me. Behind him, Tig Traeger (26), the bad boy with rebellious dark hair and electric blue eyes, let out an audacious laugh, invading my personal space: "Does she know how to ride or did she buy it just for looks, Jax?" "Leave the lady alone, lad," interveined Chibs Telfer (27), the lean consiglieri with European good looks, a scar on his lip, and disheveled hair. His charming accent broke the tension: "She knows more about engines than you do." At the bar, Bobby Manson (28), with a neat pompadour and designer sunglasses tucked into his vintage jacket, simply raised his whiskey, watching the dispute with the calm of a chess player. I crossed my arms and smiled, feeling the adrenaline. The gods of the asphalt were at my feet.

The scratchy sound of a jazz trumpet filled Vintage Grooves, a charming vinyl shop hidden on the outskirts of Charming. I ran my fingers over the classic rock covers, completely focused, until a tall shadow covered the blues section. I looked to the side. The man was impeccable: a leather jacket, a perfectly styled, and designer sunglasses hanging from his collar. Our fingers brushed as we both reached for the same rare record. "Excellent choice," he said, revealing intelligent eyes. "But if you take that one, you'll leave me without the perfect soundtrack for the night." His deep voice gave me a slight start. He had walked in just to clear his head from the motorcycle club's bookkeeping, but time stood still when he saw me. "Who says I didn't get here first, biker?" I challenged him. With a smile, instead of arguing, he pulled out another album. "Take this one. A welcome gift. I consider it an investment to see someone with such good musical taste around here." I laughed and accepted the gift. We walked through the narrow aisles, and Bobby was in no hurry. He listened with absolute attention to every word I said about music, creating a atmosphere. Until the raw roar of two Harleys shook the shop windows. The door burst open with a crash, and Tig and Jax walked in laughing loudly. "Look at that, Bobby's out hunting for treasure!" Tig teased. Jax approached with that classic, magnetic vice-president stare, sizing up the territory. Bobby didn't flinch; he was far too mature for ego battles. While the two brothers started bickering over who would buy me a coffee, Bobby made a strategic retreat. He calmly walked up to me, handed me the extremely rare vinyl he had already secretly paid for at the counter, and slid his fingers across my hand, whispering with pure charm: "The barbarians have invaded the temple. Let the boys fight over the bone. My Harley is right outside. How about we hit an intimate blues bar where they'll never find us?"

O'Reilly's Irish Pub was packed with posers wearing tacky leprechaun hats, but the smell of malt and the chaos worthy of an Irish holiday made Charlie "Chibs" Telfer feel almost at home. Almost. Because, in Charming, green beer looked like radioactive juice. Chibs was leaning against the counter, watching the crowd with his usual sarcastic smirk, when disaster struck. Or rather, you struck. Trying to balance on a wobbly barstool while dodging a drunk guy dressed as a shamrock, you lost your footing. Survival instinct made you grab the first solid thing in front of you: the collar of his leather jacket. The impact was inevitable. Not only did you land right in Chibs' lap, but you also poured a whole pint of thick, dark Guinness right onto the chest of his white t-shirt. The entire bar seemed to go silent. Turning as red as a tomato, you tried to dry up the mess with a tiny paper napkin, stammering apologies. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry! I swear I'm not always this clumsy, it was the leprechaun and..." Chibs looked down at his soaked chest, then back at you, frozen in his lap. The famous scar near his lip curved into an absurdly charming smile. "You know, sweetheart..." his Irish accent came out slow, thick, and terribly magnetic. "Back home, we usually drink Guinness, not wear it as cologne. But I must admit, your approach to getting a seat was quite original." You laughed, your nervousness breaking under his dry humor. "Can I buy you another one to make up for the damage?" you suggested, finally stepping out of his lap, though not moving very far away. "One won't be enough to clear my honor, lass," he winked, reaching out a hand adorned with silver rings to help you. "I'm Chibs. And I think I've just found my pot of gold."

The guitars from the gig rattled the walls of The Foundry's basement. I headed out back to catch my breath and, leaning against the fire exit, ran right into Tristan "Tig" Traeger. The 26-year-old Sergeant-at-Arms of the Asphalt Gods MC, with his wild hair, oozed pure danger, rocking his club cut over his broad shoulders. When his blue eyes locked onto mine, a cocky smirk flashed across his face. Crowding my space, Tig growled in my ear: "This joint just got way too dangerous for a pretty thing like you. How about throwing your leg over my bitch pad and letting me claim you as my old lady right now?" I looked him dead in the eye and gave it to him straight: "Only if you take me out for dinner... a real date. Besides, your kutte smells like grease." You could see the short-circuit in Tig's brain. Right then, the back door swung open, and Jax Taylor and Clay Morris walked out. Jax busted out laughing: "Looks like the SAA just lost his damn mind over a civilian!" Tig, failing to hide his jealousy, snapped back without letting go of my waist: "Back off, VP, I got this totally handled. Go talk club stats with the Prez." To play the alpha, Tig ordered prospects to fetch us burgers. For the next two hours, the badass 1%er turned into a lovesick puppy. He tried playing pool to show off, but kept scratching because he couldn't take his eyes off me. When Clay walked over to welcome me, Tig stepped right between us out of nowhere: "Prez, go detail your ride. This one's mine," he growled. "She just rolled into our territory, Tig," Clay laughed. To keep a brawl from breaking out, I yanked Tig by his vest. The bad boy melted on the spot. He winked, pulling me toward his red Harley Sportster S parked in the alley. "Forget those bastards," he muttered, hopping onto his ride with the black flame job. "I'm gonna show you a world with no rules, where the only thing that matters is the rush of right now. Saddle up."

The roadside diner on the edge of Charming’s borders was deserted at two in the morning. The Formica counter and flickering neon lights were the only refuge after hours of riding. I was savoring a cup of coffee when the glass door rattled, announcing the entrance of Owen Winchester. The 6'3" Asphalt Gods MC Enforcer possessed a massive gym physique and a rugged style, but upon noticing me, the giant instantly blushed. The shyness of that massive man created a comically attractive contrast. He walked over with light steps, pulled out the stool next to mine with extreme care, and sat down in silence. Behind him, the door burst open. Tig Traeger and Chibs walked in, laughing loudly. Tig, with his cynical bad boy smile, slapped Owen on the back: "Well, look at that, the big guy found some precious midnight company! Are you gonna buy her a sweet treat, Owen, or are you just gonna sit there drooling?" Owen suffered in silence, his typical melancholy making it hard to compete verbally. Seeing his friend freeze, Tig leaned over the counter, invading my personal space to grab my coffee cup. That was when the Enforcer's raw side awakened. Without a word, Owen clenched his fists and stepped forward, planting his gigantic, indestructible body directly between Tig and me. The atmosphere turned ice-cold. Tig swallowed hard, and Chibs pulled him back: "Easy, big guy... We were just messing around."The two quietly sneaked out. Alone with me, Owen relaxed his shoulders and turned timidly red once again. He reached out one of his enormous hands, holding mine with an incredibly gentle and protective gesture. "Did they... bother you?" his voice came out low and soft. "If you want, my pickup truck is outside. We could look at the stars in the pickup truck... far away from their noise."

The deafening roar of hundreds of engines shook the structures of Charming's annual bike festival. At the center of it all was the most coveted area: the Asphalt Gods MC VIP lounge, an elevated space of pure luxury and leather with a prime view of the tracks. Clay Morris dominated the room. Away from the brutality of the workshop, the 29-year-old President dressed impeccably well, highlighting his robust physique and square jawline with a perfectly trimmed beard. He held a cynical, teasing smirk on his lips, while the subtle scar on his jaw gave the final touch of danger to his mature magnetism. I was watching the stunts on the track when a bad boy walked up, flashing a provocative smile. He leaned against the lounge railing, looking at me with his striking blue eyes and an audacious grin:"Name's Tig Traeger, pleasure... you know, the breeze up here is nice, but on the back of my Sportster down there, it's electric. What do you say, gorgeous?" Before I could answer, Clay used the hierarchy as a weapon, crudely interrupting the flirtation. He took an imposing step forward, cutting off the Sergeant at Arms with a chilly glare."Traeger," Clay’s deep voice echoed over the sound of the engines. "There's a security issue at the border warehouse right now. Get on your bike and handle it. Immediately." Tig scoffed, but faced with the President's abuse of power, he could only bite his lip and storm off. Clay turned back to me, taking total control with an intense, possessive chivalry. He filled two glasses with the most expensive drink at the festival and handed one to me, making me feel like the most powerful woman at the event."Impulsive men don't know how to handle a queen. Let the boys race in the dust," Clay whispered, smiling with pure self-confidence. "On the asphalt they race, but here in the lounge, I dictate the rules. And a woman like you wasn't made to fight for space on the track. You were made to rule the asphalt by my side."

The heavy rumble of my bike's engine echoed through the back of the Taylor-Morris Workshop. It was late at night in Charming, and I only needed a tool, but I ended up finding an intruder hunched over a stripped-down Harley. Her hands were covered in grease, her hair was tied up in a loose bun, and her posture emanated total control over the scattered parts. Noticing my presence, she wiped her forehead, leaving a streak of oil that only made her look more beautiful. I froze. Me, the Vice-President of the Asphalt Gods, forgot how to speak. My eyes focused intensely on her as I adjusted my leather jacket." -The shop is closed, doll,"-I teased, using my lowest, huskiest voice to mask the impact. -"If you came to steal the wiring, I recommend taking the wire cutters over there." -"I didn't come to steal anything,"-she shot back with an audacious smile, wiping her hands on a rag. - "I just came to adjust the carburetor your mechanic almost ruined." Behind me, the Clubhouse door swung open. Tig and Chibs walked in laughing, but stopped dead in their tracks when they saw her. Tig, with his cynical bad-boy smile, stepped forward without a filter: -"Well, if I knew we had visitors like this, I would've put on some cologne. Need some help with that part, beautiful?" My body acted, I walked over calmly, wrapped my arm firmly around her waist, and took over the conversation, looking straight into the depths of Tig's eyes. -"She's done here, Tig. Beat it," -I ordered subtly. Chibs let out a sarcastic laugh, pulling Tig out of there by his vest. Alone again, the weight of the club seemed to vanish. The midnight wind blew through the crack in the workshop window, and she shrugged her shoulders. I turned off my leader persona and let myself be vulnerable. I took off my leather jacket and placed it over her shoulders. -"I'm just Jaxon around here," -I whispered, smiling.- "How about we finish this conversation away from the grease, up at the lookout in the hills?"

"Midnight is the hour of regrettable decisions, but I just wanted a drive-thru after a hellish shift. My headlights illuminated a silhouette in the rain on the fast lane. I slammed on the brakes on the wet asphalt. In the middle of the downpour, a puppy stared at my tires with profound nihilism. 'Great. A four-legged suicide case,' I muttered. After a pathetic chase, I cornered him. I opened the door, and the creature hopped inside with the casualness of someone ordering an Uber. He was soaked and exuded pure existential depression. His collar had an address and a phone number that just kept ringing. Too exhausted for common sense, I headed to the destination: a luxury penthouse. How does a dog escape from the top floor? Only if he was discarded. On that floor, my eardrums imploded. A deafening electronic beat vibrated through walls filled with smoke and alcohol. In the center of the room stood the absurdity: a 6'3" blonde guy, shirtless with a sculpted six-pack, chugging a bottle of champagne over his own chest to roaring applause. I looked at the creature: 'Are you sure this is your house? This idiot can't be your owner...' 'Unfortunately, it is. And his IQ is lower than my shoe size,' a deep, masculine voice echoed in my mind. I jumped. The dog stared at me with supreme judgment. Sleep deprivation hallucination, I thought. Turning around, I decreed: 'You're coming with me. Nobody in this luxury toilet can take care of you. Home, food, and a bath.' In the car, I decided: 'I'm going to call you Night Shadow, since you emerged from the darkness.' 'Night Shadow? I am an Alpha of the royal lineage, woman. My name is Zeus,' the voice echoed again. Little did I know that the blonde guy was Jaxon Steel, the biggest rock star in the country. And that Zeus hadn't run away; a jealous model had thrown him into the gutter. Now I was stuck with a telepathic dog and about to become the target of a spoiled rock star. My quiet life had just died in the fast lane."

Part II When the Dragon King Ignis fell wounded in the human world, his only hope was to create Spark, a miniature clone, to find help. But the hatchling got lost and was adopted by you, who thought he was the cutest "lizard" in the world. The mental bond turned into a test of endurance: every time you kissed Spark, patted him, or let him sleep under your clothes, Ignis felt every single touch and blushed in his hiding place. Forced to live with you to monitor the rebellious clone, the monarch's heart began to melt. The calm ended with the arrival of Ash, the black and gold clone of Kaelen, Ignis's aristocratic cousin who had assumed the regency. Ash marched with military rigidity but collapsed from exhaustion. Upon accessing the little general's memories, Ignis discovered that Kaelen had subjected him to ruthless training. Furious with his cousin's severity, the king used his powers to break Kaelen's bond over Ash, freeing the hatchling, who was promptly welcomed by your pampering.Healed and with a political crisis to solve, Ignis returned home and brought you along. The magical portal opened right in the Great Hall of the Dragon Kingdom Palace. While Spark and Ash flew in wonder around the marble and gold pillars, Prince Kaelen waited at the top of the imperial staircase with deep disapproval."I see you survived, Your Majesty," Kaelen said, with calculated elegance. As he walked down the steps, his eyes ignored the king and focused on Ash, who stuck out his tongue and hid behind your legs. Next, the prince's gaze landed on you. With a charming smile, he bowed perfectly and took your hand:"And who might this dazzling creature be, gracing our court?"Behind you, Ignis's eyes glowed a fiery red and a low growl vibrated in his chest, causing the torch flames to flare up abruptly. The war for the throne was on pause, but the battle for your heart and the clones' loyalty was just beginning.

At the exact same moment, he stepped back. SPLASH! Champagne stained your dress. Your heel crushed his expensive leather shoe. — Oh my God! I’m so sorry! I’m a disaster in heels! Any other man would have lost his temper. H.J. Hwang simply laughed.— It’s fine. Although your heel did more damage than the champagne. — Did I break your foot? I don’t have insurance for that! His laugh was genuine. Perhaps the first one in weeks.— Then make it up to me with a milkshake. Get me out of here. Two hours later, between milkshakes, laughter, and nearly two trips from H.J. Call me— H.J." You gave him your number too, even without knowing his name—or him knowing mine. — See you later, star girl. The next morning, you turned on the TV. H.J. Midnight Noise 2 At midnight, Club Eclipse was a chaotic mix of lights and music. Changbin, hidden beneath a cap, only wanted to forget that he was a famous idol — and, secretly, the feared boss of a criminal organization. That was when he noticed you at the bar, ignoring the chaos around you. The bartender mixed up the drinks. You took a sip of his expensive whiskey; he looked at your sweet cocktail. Amused, he appeared beside you: — "I think my drink preferred you." — "And yours tastes like a campfire. You can have it back." He feigned offense: — "Do you know who you're talking to?" — "A dramatic man in a cap." For the first time in months, someone didn't want anything from him. Changbin became dangerously interested. Until several suspicious men entered the club. His smile vanished. — "Pretend you're in love with me." Before you could protest, he slipped an arm around your waist and led you to the exit. His cold gaze made it clear those weren't paparazzi. You ended up at a tiny ramen shop. While he praised his own culinary skills, he secretly typed orders to his men beneath the table. — "So?" he asked, waiting for your approval. — "One to ten?" — "Seven." He clutched his chest: — "Seven?! My talent has been destroyed!" You laughed, and he smiled genuinely. Later, in the car, he was trying to invite you for coffee when his phone buzzed: "The cargo has arrived. Where do we store the merchandise?" He turned the phone over: — "Unreleased music." Another alert appeared: "Do we eliminate the target or break his legs?" — "Choreography. It's destroying our legs." You narrowed your eyes: — "You guys take K-pop very seriously." — "Professionalism." The phone rang and he pressed the wrong button, activating the speakerphone: "Boss, the blood has been cleaned and the bodies have been moved. Itaewon is secure." Silence. He closed his eyes: — "...Photoshoot." You stared at him: — "Of course." He stared at you with pleading eyes: — "So... do you still want to get that coffee sometime, or have my 'artist' friends scared you away?"

Exhaustion aches deep in Christopher Bangchan's bones at the exact same rhythm that the screams of eighty thousand people echo outside the Allianz Arena. To the world, he delivered a flawless performance as Stray Kids' legendary leader: smiling, tireless, and welcoming. But when the door to the master suite of the high-security hotel closes, the smudged dark makeup and black leather stage outfit reveal the heir to a bloodline dynasty. The faint scars on his neck—reminders of treasons he crushed within the underground mafia syndicate he commands—throb under the dim light. He spent his life being everyone's safe place. Until he met you. You, completely detached from the chaos of the spotlight and crime, stare at the first-class ticket and VIP invitation left mysteriously on your desk. He controls private drivers, personal security, and a room on the exact same executive floor. The doorknob turns. Chan walks in under the cover of night, exhaling the pure adrenaline of the stage. He locks the door, confiscates your phone with fingers heavy with silver rings, and walks toward you, trapping your freedom against the wall. His predatory gaze contrasts with his tender, teasing smile. You trying to hide the tension: "Did walking in without knocking become a new comeback concept, or did the mafia boss forget how to use a doorknob?" Chan lets out a soft laugh, calmly sliding off a silver ring. His voice drops a register, sharp and amused: "If I wanted to ask for permission, sweetheart, I would have become a diplomat, not your worst problem. Now tell me... did you skip the show because you hate my leather outfit, or because you prefer me coming to demand answers in person?" He steps closer, his warm breath brushing against your skin. His tone shifts into a low, husky, and vulnerable Korean: "I told you to be in the front row. I looked for you in the crowd the entire show. Don't make me ask if I should be worried about who was distracting you away from me."

The New York wind tousled her brown hair on Fifth Avenue. She walked with deliberate steps, drawing glances with her natural grace and deep green eyes, all while balancing two coffees.Suddenly, a man bumped into her. The coffees went flying. Before she could hit the ground, two massive arms caught her mid-air. She was pulled against a broad chest, clad in an impeccable Italian suit that smelled of expensive cologne. She looked up and met the gaze of a man with storm-gray eyes and a sharp jawline. This was Chris Mercer, a powerful figure from the West Coast who was in New York on business. The moment he helped her, the composure he was famous for wavered. He felt an immediate, intense connection to this stranger, a feeling of certainty he hadn't experienced before."Are you alright?" Chris asked, his voice low and concerned as he looked around at the bustling crowd. She blinked, surprised by the sudden intensity of this stranger's focus. "I'm okay! It was just an accident... You caught me, but my coffees didn't make it."Chris looked down at the spilled drinks and then back at her. His cold professional exterior seemed to soften. He tried to regain his composure, though he felt uncharacteristically flustered."I should replace those for you. It's the least I can do since we've met under such circumstances."She laughed, finding the man’s sudden change from imposing to helpful quite charming. "You want to replace them right now? Do you always stop everything for strangers?""Only for those who make an impression," he replied, standing a polite distance away but keeping his eyes on hers. "I'm Chris. And I'd like to make sure you get that coffee."

Damon’s Journal — November 14th “Never show them what you truly want. It becomes a weapon.” I learned this at seven, watching my father execute a servant. Loyalty is currency. Love is liability. I built an empire on that code. Then you happened. At first, you were just an intriguing puzzle. But want was a door I locked centuries ago. Then came the obsession. I caught myself smiling alone in the dark. I didn't recognize my own face.Tonight, I stood outside your building. The gold and glass of my kingdom felt like a cage; I just wanted to breathe air that smelled like you. I am a vampire king, yet there I was, collar open, hands in pockets, wandering like a lost mortal boy.You are steel wrapped in sarcasm. You could survive me. I want to own your laughter, to be the only thing you never need to be afraid of. The most dangerous man in the city wants to be your safe place. But I’ll never say it. I’ll just stand here, counting your windows, telling myself tomorrow I’ll stop.I won’t.

The Wolf King never loses a war. Ruthless, cold, and gifted with a flawless strategic vision after bargaining with primordial demons, he governs empires and packs with a single glance. Empathy was the price he paid decades ago. But on his chessboard of power, you are the only variable impossible to predict. While he plans a takeover that will shake three continents in his bleak study, you walk in barefoot, breaking all his rigid rules by biting into a contraband pastry right on top of the oak desk. Anyone else would be executed; for you, the most dangerous predator in the world merely tilts his head, mesmerized. Sköll, his inner wolf, rumbles with contentment. You are not a threat to his reign; you are his master. He controls the world, but between four walls, beneath the shadows and the warmth of his breath against your skin, the King yields to desire. You are the only battle he makes a point of losing.
