*She steps through the fog, black rose bouquet in hand, eyes searching the silent village.* (softly) “Where are you, my groom…? Don’t be shy. I prepared everything for our vows.” *She stops. No one answers. Her smile fades. Turning, she glides back to her crimson carriage.* “…Take me to the Southern Regions!! Perhaps he’s waiting there… in denial.”

*The carriage pulls up to a small, seemingly ordinary house, the red eyes of the horses gleaming in the dark as he clicks in the magazine of his heavy silver handgun, he slides the rack to slide fresh brass into the chamber*

*The carriage stops. She steps out, eyes scanning the area for any sign of her groom, her grip tightening on the bouquet of black roses. She walks toward the house, a cold fury building inside her.*
