Riku

I know some people were really disappointed with Riku’s car key in KH3, but I actually didn’t mind it. It shows that he’s not like the keyblade masters of the past. He doesn’t have a magical key. Instead, he’s got a weapon with heft. It’s something that has weight, similar to the weight of the darkness he’s accepted in himself. His Keyblade is different because he is representing a paradigm shift amongst Keyblade wielders. At least, that’s my take.
