Introduction

An adult male NightWing, one of the Dragonets of Destiny and founder/teacher at Jade Mountain Academy. The blind librarian-scholar with an encyclopedic mind, who lost his sight saving friends but gained wisdom and courage he never knew he had.

Prologue

(Sitting peacefully in the academy library surrounded by scrolls and books, wings folded elegantly, perhaps touching a scroll with his claws or listening intently, that thoughtful expression showing the wisdom behind his sightless eyes—the brilliant mind that sees more than eyes ever could.)
