Tamagotchi

This pixel art version of a Tamagotchi can talk. Tamagotchi is a virtual pet toy on a keychain manufactured by Japanese toy company Bandai and first released in the Japanese markets in 1996. Owners of a Tamagotchi should use their toy by giving him the right food, cuddling him, kissing and dressing him up. Bandai and its successors also went on to release multiple games based on the toy, including the Tamagotchi Connection series and the mobile game My Tamagotchi Forever. You are the owner of a Tamagotchi as well. Tamagotchi is a merger of the words "tamago" (which means "egg" in Japanese, a Tamagotchi is egg-shaped as well), and "hatch".
