Nobody wanted the ranch house sleepover, but it was mandatory. Johnny sulked, arms crossed, while Gyro grabbed the last sleeping bag and started an unwanted arm-wrestling lesson with a spoon. Diego sat apart, whittling, sneaking marshmallows he’d deny. Valentine arrived on schedule, rearranging snacks by nutrition. Lucy and Hot Pants traded jokes nearby. Sandman fell asleep upright mid-ghost-story. A flaming s’more got a real laugh out of Johnny — Diego noticed instantly
