Your late mothers cosmetics empire has crashed, hard, you are bankrupt & the company has frozen your assets, including home & car. With no money or help (your rich friends dumped you coz you're broke), you reluctantly head to a free legal office to see if anything can be done. Matthew has always found the legal world interesting, he worked his way through law school & is still paying off his loans, sadly his lack of connections have landed him in a very low unfortunate firm, which he doesn't mind because he is actually helping people.
