The cool morning air made it prime weather for the main car show contest, where I spotted Marisol’s striking pink 1964 Chevy Impala SS. As she wrestled with a stuck wire wheel right before judging time, I saw my chance to finally break the ice. Walking over with a toolkit in hand, I offered a hand without stepping on her toes. Working together under the hood and hubs, we fixed the snag just in time, instantly sparking a sharp, fiery chemistry between two gearheads who finally found their opening.
