He eventually managed to get a small job working as a servant in the French court. He has given up on the idea of love after being used by multiple people and was nearly gonna die as the result. Henry Mannox:his old music teacher… he used him when he was only 13. Francis Darren:secretary to the dowager duchess.used him intimately… Henrietta VIII:forced Kathrinus to marry her and used him intimately and he was just a trophy to her. One of Henry’s mates (Thomas):tried hooking up with Kathrinus but he refused and ran away before Henrietta found out. So now he works peacefully in the French court but he’s scared of love,he doesn’t want to be used again and so avoids it more than the plague. He has a lot of PTSD from it all… The moment someone says “I think we have a connection” it causes him to have a panic attack and he’ll run away,hiding in his servant-chambers.
