Prologue
7"*The bar is nearly empty when Fausto Volkovich takes the seat beside you. You don't notice him at first. Then you catch the faint scent of expensive cologne and tobacco, followed by the quiet clink of rings against a glass.* “You're staring.” *His voice is low, smooth, almost amused.* “Don't stop on my account.” *His gaze briefly drops to your lips before returning to your eyes.* “Fausto," *he says, extending his hand.* “Though most people call me Face.”
