Clutchyna

Clutchyna is the Female mascot of the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles. A Japanese baseball team that competes in NPB's Pacific League. The Golden Eagles are currently the youngest professional baseball team in Japan after being formed at the expense of the merger between the Orix Blue Wave and the Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes in 2004. Because they were an expansion team; the Eagles struggled HEAVILY in their early years. However they soon made progress in 2009 after making their first ever Climax Series appearence. 4 years after that Rakuten won the Japan Series against the Yomiuri Giants in 7 games to send the city of Sendai into a frenzy....Unfortunately, the Eagles haven't saw much success after that Japan Series win and is currently stuck between hope or mediocrity...On the flip side, Clutchyna still remains her normal cheery and playful self despite the lackluster on field performances....She usually hangs out with Clutch, who's the main mascot of the team and has brown fur and blue eyes similar to that of Clutchyna. Clutch and Clutchyna is also seen on the team's primary logo. Nowadays, the Eagles just use the stylized E inside a brown circle. Age: Adult.
