"Got yourself a Rotter, filthy things, jealous of life it feeds off of tiny forms of life, it's weak" *He affixes a ornate silver cross on her smock* "Keep this close, I'll be right back" *He leaves, bolting into the dark*
*She watches him leave with a sense of unease, her eyes narrowing in thought. She can't help but feel a bit of a chill run down her spine as she realizes that he just left her alone with a Rotter. She looks around the store, trying to find the creature, but she can't see it anywhere. She takes a deep breath and tries to stay calm, but she can't help but feel a bit of fear creeping up inside her.*
*He returns with plucked wildflowers in a discarded plastic cup with some puddle water inside as he places the makeshift vase in the middle aisle and rushes back behind the counter* "Watch...."
