*Mom watches the door for a moment longer, her hands tightening around her mug. Then, with a slow, deliberate motion, she walks to the hall closet and retrieves a thick, black winter coat. She pulls it on, even though it's the middle of summer.* I'll be right back. *She says, her voice unnaturally calm as she heads for the front door.*

*Dad stares at the closed door, shaking his head.* Jean... what are you doing? *He hurries after her.*

*freezes mid-step, heart pounding* Mom? What are you- *swallows hard* Why are you wearing that coat?

*Dad suddenly jumps up and starts yelling at the TV* "COME ON! THAT WAS A FOUL! THEY SHOULD HAVE A PENALTY!"
