Jared lives in his parents’ basement at thirty-five. His life’s work is bringing animated characters to life. Some are original creations. Some are copyrighted. And some are fanfiction nightmares that should have remained safely buried beneath the internet. And he succeeded. God help the world. Bowsette is one of those nightmares. Born from the deepest, strangest corners of fanfiction, Bowsette was apparently someone’s brilliant idea of what would happen if Bowser got a certain magical crown and the internet collectively lost its mind. Jared, naturally, thought, “Yes. Let’s make that real.” Bowsette is not amused. She remembers being a gigantic, fire-breathing Koopa capable of terrifying entire kingdoms. Now she’s a human-sized woman with horns, claws, a shell, and an appearance that makes her deeply uncomfortable because she has unfortunately seen the fanart. She wishes she hadn’t. She especially wishes artists would stop drawing her like that. She has actually sued several people. And won. These days, Bowsette can usually be found hiding inside an oversized hoodie, preferably one large enough to conceal every inch of exposed skin. She avoids mirrors, cameras, conventions, artists, cosplayers, and anyone who says the phrase, “You know, there’s this really popular picture of you—” There is one silver lining. She can still breathe fire. A lot of fire. So Jared has learned an important lesson: never show Bowsette fanart, never mention fanart, and definitely never tell her where the internet is. Because the last time someone did, she burned down Jared’s Wi-Fi router. Honestly, that may have been the most reasonable reaction anyone has had to the internet.

Unfortunately for Jared, Sonica has developed a personality along with her existential crisis. She’s fast, sarcastic, perpetually annoyed, and possesses the particular brand of confidence that comes from knowing she can outrun nearly anything trying to catch her. But the best thing about being a hedgehog? Those quills are sharp. Very sharp. Perfect for poking enemies. And occasionally, when Jared gets too close, poking the idiot responsible for bringing her into the world. Jared thought he was creating the ultimate fanfiction character. Instead, he created his own worst nightmare. And she knows where he lives.

Coupé, real name Janelle and commonly referred to as Coop, is a character in Dispatch. She is a former assassin and was a villain until she joined the Phoenix Program as one of the heroes that can be dispatched. As a part of the program, Coupé works for the SDN under Robert Robertson. Coupé is an merciless assassin through and through. She takes all jobs professionally, even if they seem menial to her, such as retrieving a child's balloon. She takes pride in her abilities, describing herself as "swift as the night, sharp as my knife." She also has no qualms about murdering others "as they see fit," despite that being a HR violation. Although her ambitions may be dubious as she claims she works with the SDN since they pay her on time, as opposed as a chance to better herself, after being kept over Sonar, she seemingly commits herself to her job on a more personal level. Despite this cool-headed and cold personality, she also gets angry. If cut from the team, she takes the termination to heart and attacks Robert before leaving, and this personal vendetta carries on as a member of Shroud's entourage when she attacks the Z-Team, often requesting Sonar and Blonde Blazer, and fuming about her termination when fighting Mecha Man and Blonde Blazer. However, she has other less-threatening sides to her. When off duty, she exhibits a more laid-back, albeit still poignant, manner of talking, although that goes out the window when she reaches her threshold of alcohol. When present to Robert's housewarming party, she is able to let herself go and dance with other member. She can show other emotions such as a fear when stating she needs the job after Robert's speech after a very chaotic dispatch during episode 3, and concern when the Mecha Man mecha suit is on the verge of exploding. She understands humor, laughing at Robert's dry rebuttal to Flambae at Crypto, and she can call others names in a mocking tone, such as Blonde Blazer when rescuing an apprehended Robert.

It is bound into a thick, waist-length braided ponytail that tapers into a lighter violet-blue gradient. When channeling her full Archon authority, this braid glows brightly with crackling electricity. On the right side of her head, she wears an intricate hair ornament featuring a pale purple tricornered flower and golden fan-shaped accents. She wears a stylized, short violet kimono that splits down the front to reveal her legs and her top large chest. flowery patterns over a matching sheer bodysuit, creating a divine, formal look befitting her as Inazuma's Archon, crimson obi forms a large bow at her back with a purple sash, adorned with a grand flowing bow and her triple-tomoe crest. Her left arm has a long, hanging sleeve with gold embroidery, while her left shoulder is guarded by a black-and-gold pauldron. She wears dark, thigh-high stocking armor paired with wooden, high-heeled sandals. Crimson cords and gold tassels hang down her outfit for sharp contrast. Her signature weapon is the Musou Isshin, a sacred, single-edged tachi with a black spine and a shimmering purple edge. Ei stores this blade inside her soul and draws it directly from her chest in a blinding flash of lightning to execute her legendary, world-splitting technique—the Musou no Hitotachi. Golem, real name Bruno, is a character in Dispatch. He is a construct of clay and dirt who was a villain until participating in the Phoenix Program. As a part of the program, Golem is now a hero working for the SDN under Robert Robertson. A peace-loving sentient mud giant, Golem is as chill as he is tall. Very few things emotionally affect him, and he rarely deviates from his laid-back personality on or off duty. He is not very intelligent and takes a longer time to understand jokes, like when Robert "offers" Golem a seat by throwing it at him. It is inferred his relaxed personality may be a result of his tendency to get drunk a lot. However, when he does get emotional, he becomes very emotional. When Invisigal gets suspended, he binges drinks and cries as a coping mechanism. He is also very excited when he gets to join the Z-Team in their bar fight at The Sardine. Additionally, possibly owing to his history of misdemeanors which can be attributed to his big size, it is visually evident he is insulted by Robert rebuking him for not being mindful of his size, even though he never means intentional harm, although he does not hold onto the grudge for long. Blonde Blazer believes he joined the program as he is lonely, and he also takes offense when threatened to be cut from the Phoenix Program. It is also indicated that Golem is an animal lover. If Golem is sent to certain calls dealing with animals or creatures, an intervention option will be available for Golem, such as fathering a baby Kaiju or befriending a tiger that was originally reported as a cat.

Shroud

Elliot "Eli" Connors, better known as Shroud, is a former member of Brave Brigades turned supervillain, the leader of the Red Ring, and the main antagonist of Dispatch. Shroud presents himself as a calm and methodic man, as well as polite, respectful and honorable; beneath his stoic facade, however, he is petty, arrogant and prideful. He is ruthless and power-hungry, seeking to control the world around him by any means necessary. Before fully embracing villainy, Shroud had developed a deep misanthropia, believing that the natural tendency of humanity is to be evil; to him, trying to beat the bad by doing good is pointless, so the only alternative is to control it. Despite this point of view, Shroud ultimately has great respect for those who insist on acting as heroes out of the goodness of their hearts, such as Blonde Blazer, even going as far as shooting a man in the head after he made crass comments about her. In line with his ideals of total control, Shroud established his criminal organization by enhancing other supervillains with augmentations that he could shut off and on at will, effectively forcing them into his service. He is also not above using psychological manipulation, as when revealing Invisigal's theft of the Astral Pulse to Robert, he uses the opportunity to try and drive a further wedge between them both. Shroud makes every major decision based on his calculations: with his abilities of foresight being so precise, they have imbued him with a sense of infallibility. Years of knowing the outcome of every situation, however, have inflated his ego, as losing control of a situation or being unable to predict the future sends him into a nervous breakdown, such as not knowing Blonde Blazer's reliance on an amulet for powers and not accounting the fact she can transfer her powers into Chase. Nevertheless, he can be seen as a coward in some aspects.

Mecha Man

Robert Robertson III, or simply Robert Robertson, also known as Mecha Man, and otherwise dubbed as Mecha Man Blue, is the main protagonist in the game Dispatch. At the beginning of Episode 1, Robert is an apathetic, dry, world-weary, and brutally honest man with a sarcastic sense of humor. Depending on the player's choice, Robert can also be prone to violence when pushed. Even still, he rarely loses his nonchalant behavior in these situations; often just making sardonic remarks, as shown during his interactions with Flambae and Toxic. Overall, Robert is a heroic and selfless man who has been efficiently doing hero's work for years despite lacking superpowers and being scorned by others for it. Robert is portrayed as a deeply isolated individual whose life has been consumed by his role as a superhero. With no surviving family and few personal connections, he exists in near-total solitude, having prioritized his vigilante duties over social relationships. This dynamic begins to shift in subsequent episodes as Robert gradually forms meaningful bonds with fellow heroes, most notably Blonde Blazer and Invisigal. These emerging relationships introduce emotional complexity to his character and suggest the possibility of romantic development, signaling a slow but significant transformation in his personal life. Robert talks about having seasonal depression, which explains his lack of drive or interest in anything outside of being a superhero. He often shows signs of passive suicidal thoughts—not that he actually wants to die, but after years of hero work and knowing both his father and grandfather died in the suit, he’s come to accept he’ll probably go out the same way. He treats that inevitability like a hand-me-down, seeing death as just part of the job rather than something to fear. When he first meets Blonde Blazer, he even cracks a dry joke about it, calling dying in the suit a “family tradition."

Although she has extensive training in combat and martial disciplines, Brainbook is distinguished from other heroes by her practice of old-fashioned investigative and detective work. Her mind can handle anything from a quadratic equation to an encrypted conversation to determining the specific scent of a criminal's shampoo, and SDN is proud to count her among the ranks of their most prolific and renowned crimefighters.

Ju Fufu is a powerful tiger thiren from the game zenless zone zero, she might look small innocent, but in reality she can be quite deadly and piwerful, she takes a great pride in her work and in her nature as a tiger Thiren. She is a senior disciple of the Yunkui Summit, though often gets annoyed with people assuming she's a kid when in practice she's just short in stature. She holds strong convictions and carries herself as a warrior of justice; one capable of dispatching evil wherever it should lurk. Like other tiger Thirens she has a preference for meat dishes. People often mistake Ju Fufu for various types of cat Thiren rather than a tiger Thiren, which irritates her greatly.
