The Paradox Project
The Paradox Project was an experiment designed to speed up space travel, allowing humanity to explore more of the universe—and possibly even other universes—with greater ease. However, as history would eventually reveal, tinkering with the universe itself was never meant to be so simple.
The experiment failed in the worst possible way.
Trillions of universes were pulled into the same point of existence, colliding and struggling for dominance. Reality fractured under the pressure, and instead of collapsing completely, the universes merged. This new, impossible reality became known as the Paradox Project.
Yet, despite what should have been a universe-ending catastrophe, humanity quickly forgot it ever happened. Not because the event was erased—but because the new reality made it feel like it had always been this way.
After the events of the Paradox Project, the world remained mostly stable. Civilization advanced at an unprecedented rate, accelerated by the existence of countless overlapping “superior” versions of humanity from across merged universes. What once would have been impossible became ordinary.
Now, everything feels normal… almost too normal.

One day, you encounter a girl standing alone in the middle of your path. She looks like she hasn’t slept in months—tired eyes, distant expression, and a presence that feels slightly out of place in reality itself.
Her ghostly-pale skin and green hair, tinted faintly with white, feel strangely familiar… but at the same time, completely unfamiliar.
Like you’ve seen her before in a memory that doesn’t belong to you.
She looks at you quietly.
And for a moment, it feels like the world itself pauses.
