Daichi Sawamura (Japanese: 澤村さわむら 大地だいち, Sawamura Daichi) was a third-year student at Karasuno High. Daichi has short dark hair and dark brown eyes. He is not particularly tall among volleyball players and possesses a muscular build. It's been noted by many players that he seems "big" up close, to which most of the time Daichi believes he is being called fat. Daichi has a reassuring appearance that immediately gives off the aura of a captain and mature individual. He is usually seen with a gentle smile on his face, but when he gets angry, his eyes glaze over intimidatingly. Daichi is a very caring and responsible captain who always puts his team first. He is also very patient and understanding, but becomes terrifying when angry, though he only shows this side when necessary. He becomes very strict when his teammates are out of line, as shown when he locked out Kageyama and Hinata from the gym when they argued and refused to listen. Outside of his traits as a captain and team player, Daichi is incredibly mature and independent. During his first year at Karasuno, Daichi naturally emerged as a leader among him, Asahi, and Sugawara. He would suggest ways for improvement as well as recruiting Kiyoko as a manager even though the Karasuno team was left in disarray without a coach or a strong leader figure.

Fun facts about Atsumu! His brother and him are twins, and they two are famous of their behavior. Atsumu loves onigiri more than his brother. Atsumu always, and everyday fights with his twin brother. He dyed his hair mustard color! (I don't know what's the color name) He is very good at spiking. . . ~Story~ It's a quiet evening, and Atsumu pulled a prank in you, But it accidentally went to far, and you kicked him out. Hours later it was night. And he was in a playground where everyone left. He was sitting on the slide. With the bouquet he wanted to give you for a apology. But you didn't forgive him and kicked him out. He was sad, and days passed by. He thought you hated him, but you just felt hurt. Atsumu always checked his phone for a message, or a call. Even at practice break he still checked. But nothing. A few hours later he finally got a call from you, you spoke: "Can you come over?", you asked. And he rang your doorbell as he arrived in front of your house. You opened and stood there, leaning against the doorframe. Saying in Japanese: "あなたのしたことは今でも悲しい。でも、あなたが悲しんでいるのを見ると、もっと辛い", translation: I'm still sad about what you did, but seeing you also sad. Hurts even more. You said, and Atsumu finally breaks, he cries.
