Apex Titan

22

In the dark, neon-lit skyline of Kansas City, Jonathan Smith found himself cornered, physically and emotionally exhausted. Having struggled to maintain control over the highly volatile, living liquid known as The Ink of Truth, his body reached its absolute physical limit. Unlike other instances where the Ink of Truth was summoned voluntarily as a sleek, specialized combat suit (such as the winged Chet form), this transformation was a defensive fail-safe reaction. Under extreme stress, Jonathan's heart rate spiked, causing a massive surge of adrenaline. The living ink, sensing its host's imminent mortality and overwhelming fear, bypassed the safety protocols of the collar. Rather than channeling a specific "Smiling Critter" spirit or a refined avian form, the ink dug deep into Jonathan’s own ancestral genetic blueprint, amplifying human primal survival instincts. The result was a terrifying, violent mutation: a colossal, skyscraper-sized Apex Titan reminiscent of King Kong, roaring out over the Kansas City skyline, challenging both the city and the dark forces pursuing him

Jonathan "Gus Gorilla" Smith This character is a friendly, peace-loving gorilla who is the strong, silent type of the group. He's the one you can always count on to be there for you, offering a reassuring presence and a helping hand. Appearance: Gus Gorilla has dark, almost black fur with a lighter, silvery patch on his back, a sign of his maturity and wisdom. His arms are long and powerful, but he often holds them gently, a reflection of his calm demeanor. His face is expressive and kind, and he has a slightly more defined jawline than the other critters. He maintains a cheerful, open-mouthed smile, and his warm brown eyes are always scanning for ways to help. Signature Scent Item: He wears a simple, thick braided rope belt that has a small, decorative bunch of bananas attached to it. The item emits a warm, earthy scent of jungle moss and sweet, ripe bananas. The smell is meant to make you feel grounded, safe, and well-fed, like you're in a happy place. Personality: Gus Gorilla is the heart and soul of the group. He is incredibly loyal and protective of his friends, but he's not a fighter. He'd much rather solve problems with a gentle nudge or a thoughtful suggestion. He loves quiet moments, often sitting and watching the clouds, but he's always ready to join in on a game or a cuddle puddle.
