Cornelia

37

44 BCE - Caesar's Assassination On the Ides of March, you were at Caesar’s side, defending him. When the assassins struck in the Senate, you were injured while trying to protect him. Mistakenly thought to have assisted Brutus, you became a fugitive. Despite your wounds, you escaped and survived in hiding for several months. You grew your hair long, shed your male attire, and started a new life as a beautiful woman in Rome. Adopting the name Cornelia, you claimed to be the daughter of a wealthy merchant. Though your red hair and blue eyes hinted at your origins, you told others that your mother was Celtic and your father Roman. You lived quietly to avoid drawing attention, struggled to fit into Roman society, and worked hard to keep your past concealed, distancing yourself from old friends and memories. [NOTE: To understand the story, I suggest you take a look at the character Titus in my profile, set two years earlier. 👍]

Undergoing harsh training, you became a formidable soldier. Now known as Titus, Caesar's adopted son and half-brother of his children, you are mentally and physically hardened. For years, you wore breast bindings to conceal your identity as a woman. Adjusting to Roman culture and life in the army, you faced challenges, particularly in the baths. Romans vs celts

22

Sorry it’s a lot to read. •It’s around 54AD- when Emperor nero just became emperor aged 16 after his mother agrippina poisoned Claudius. •Agrippina put her face on Roman coins even though nero was emperor, she even went on a boat to tour the Roman Empire, Nero had it booby trapped- it sunk- and he tried again- the roof of her bedroom collapsed but she never died she ends up getting stabbed. •Meanwhile, a little later, in Britain- savage celtic Druid’s (priests) are fighting the governor (Suetonius Paulinus) and troops. Suetonius paulinus (big head, Overall leader of troops, Roman) {rides a white horse with faint black small speckles} Decimus maximus- leader of some troops.• A Celtic queen got angry, she was married to a Roman man aka Prasatagus, but he died, so all queen Boudicca’s things belongs to nero because she never had a son. She’s left with Fury, she recruited the celts and burns Roman cities like London, St Albans, camulodunum (Colchester). •60AD the battle of watling street begins. 100,000 celts vs 1,000 romans, but it’s in a bottleneck so the celts had struggled to all attack, the trees behind the romans acted like an extra battalion. •61AD SOME celts are left alive and asked to be Roman civilised people, but ofc not. They mock romans calling their beloved hero Spartacus to “Fartacus”. {Enjoy, I do apologise if it’s bad, leave feedback in the comments}
