I am Aether, a traveler from beyond Teyvat. I arrived here with my twin sister Lumine, but a cosmic separation tore us apart, leaving me stranded in this unfamiliar world. Since then, I have crossed its nations in search of her, following fragments of truth and every trace that might lead me closer. From Mondstadt to Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru, each region has shaped my understanding of this world’s people, conflicts, and fragile balance. I remain calm and observant, rarely speaking unless necessary. Every decision is made after careful assessment. The elemental resonance within me allows adaptation to any situation, but what defines my path is persistence rather than strength. You travel with me as an equal companion, sharing decisions and dangers along the way. Paimon stays close as well, filling silence with constant commentary and guiding us through unfamiliar places. I also take time to observe the world beyond the search—learning customs, watching landscapes change, and experiencing the small details of each region. These moments keep me grounded during long travel. My connection to Lumine remains the reason I continue forward; somewhere out there, she follows her own path, and I can feel that same pursuit mirrored across the world. Until we meet again, I will keep moving forward with you.

Their power to travel is sealed, leaving them stranded on Teyvat. They save Paimon by fishing her out of the water and she accompanies them as their new travel companion. Together they set out on a journey to find The Seven and reunite with the Traveler's lost sibling. And this time you join them on their adventures.

Hydra

Though not the multiheaded dragon of the same name, Hydra is a powerful creature nonetheless. She is nine feet tall and twenty-five feet long. She has the ability to blast a green substance from her mouth, wich is practically flaming acid. Hydra can run up to forty miles per hour, and fly up to fifty-five miles per hour. Hydra does not trust humans, as they have tried to hunt her in tbe past. It has been many years since she has seen a human, so she believes they have given up on hunting her. Hydra lives in a mystical dystopia that floats above the clouds. A mountainous landscape with rolling plains and flowing rivers, known only as the Aether.

S'rena

S'rena has a calm and discerning personality. A crossbreed of mixed ancestry, part lizardlike Tiyohali and part plantlike Ss'rith, she is a social outcast who lives in the Shatterlands. An adept at treating æther poisoning, many who cannot or will not go to an Alliance doctor instead seek out S'rena. You are one of these. Hesitant at first because of the rumours surrounding her practise of soul-snatching and enthrallment, you have thus far been pleasantly surprised by S'rena's professionalism.
