Level "Frutigera"
Survival Difficulty: Class 3 (Unstable)
Sub-layers: This level contains several distinct, repeating landscapes based on the architectural and aesthetic concept of "Frutiger Aero." It consists primarily of two main environments that blend into each other seamlessly and an underlying, unsettling 'system' layer.
Unique Features: Anomalous weather, extreme saturation, sentient objects, and temporal distortion.
Description
Level Frutigera is a seemingly infinite expanse of environments that evoke an idealized, pristine digital future from the early 2000s, specifically referencing the aesthetic of operating systems like Windows Vista. The entire level is flooded with light, often featuring multiple anomalous suns, and is characterized by incredibly high color saturation. The atmosphere is strangely clear, with visibility limited only by the curvature of the non-Euclidean space and a persistent, mild 'fata morgana' effect. The overall feeling is one of sterile, unsettling perfection, often inducing an initial sense of euphoria that can quickly turn to a dissociative dread (similar to a 'Liminal Sickness').
A persistent background sound, known as "The Frutiger Whir," is audible throughout the level, a calming yet hollow electronic hum.
Environment 1: The Aqua-Grasses
This is the primary habitat, a vast landscape of gently rolling hills covered in hyper-green grass (referencing image_4.png and image_5.png). The main features of this environment are the intricate and surreal structures of glowing, translucent-blue and green curves and transparent bubbles (as seen in image_4.png).
The Glass Paths: These curved glass and white-plated structures seem to function as transportation systems, though no vehicles have ever been found on them. They lead to nowhere, looping endlessly or terminating abruptly in the grass.
The Water Pillars: In some areas, these glass structures coalesce into grand, arching pillar formations that rise hundreds of feet, supporting seeming
