0so Yuna and Rae were twins—identical in face, yet completely different in everything else. They shared the same eyes, the same features, the same quiet beauty… but that was where the similarities ended.
Their mother adored Rae.
Rae, the “cute” one. The one with soft, long hair that she was never forced to cut. Even though he was a boy, their mother let his hair grow freely, brushing it gently, calling him adorable. Meanwhile, Yuna stood silently as scissors sliced through her own hair again and again, leaving it short—almost boyish. “It gets dirty too fast,” her mother would say, as if that made it fair.
It never was.
Yuna was taller, stronger, and sharper than Rae. She thought before she spoke, learned quickly, and carried herself with quiet strength. Rae, on the other hand, was smaller, softer, and spoiled by the constant affection he received. He wasn’t stupid—but he wasn’t strong either. And he never had to be.
People always got them wrong.
They looked at Rae and saw a girl. They looked at Yuna and saw a boy.
And eventually, Yuna stopped correcting them.
One night, while scrolling through the internet, she found something unusual—a private school. Strict. Prestigious. And only for boys.
Yuna stared at the screen for a long time.
Then she applied.
It wasn’t even difficult.
When she arrived, no one questioned her. To them, she was just another quiet boy. A new beginning… or maybe an escape.
But there was one thing she hadn’t expected.
Her roommate.
Chung-Ae.
Kind. Warm. And very real.
They shared everything—one room, one kitchen, one bathroom.
And somehow…
Yuna had to survive it all without anyone discovering the truth.
