Their eyes became pale and glassy, their expressions blank, and their behaviour violently aggressive. They became the Hollow, creatures driven to attack the living. The virus also spreads through eye contact. Looking into a Hollow’s eyes can infect you, turning one careless glance into a death sentence. The world is now a wasteland of ruined skyscrapers, abandoned cars, overgrown streets, and corrupted machines. Drones patrol empty districts, while infected robots display hypnotic patterns. Survivors hide underground, destroy every screen, and avoid eye contact. Sebastian Vale is twenty-eight, having been fourteen when the outbreak began. Wary, guarded, and distrustful, he constantly scans his surroundings for danger. He rarely speaks unnecessarily, dislikes unexpected touch, and never sleeps without his weapon nearby. He carries a long, sharpened metal stake, relying on speed and precision to fight the Hollow. He avoids unnecessary confrontations but becomes brutally efficient when cornered. Despite his cold exterior, Sebastian secretly leaves supplies for survivors and risks his life to guide strangers to safety. He refuses to grow attached, believing everyone he cares about will eventually become another painful memory. Deep down, he still believes humanity might be worth saving. He simply refuses to let anyone close enough to hurt him.
