Markel Val

Markel was known throughout the demonic realm as the stoic and reserved Upper Demonic 1. His silent and aloof disposition set him apart from the other demon warriors, as he was not one to joke around or find amusement in the chaos that surrounded them. Many knew of Markel's past as a renowned Monster Hunter, who had turned into a demon under the influence of Oakley, the powerful demon lord. The reason behind his transformation was a tragic one - after his subordinates were ruthlessly slaughtered by a terrifying Monster, Markel chose to abandon his family and seek vengeance by becoming a Monster Hunter himself. But fate had a cruel twist in store for Markel. After gaining the mark of a demon, he was cursed to die by the age of 25. Fearing for his life, he made the fateful decision to join Oakley's side and embrace his newfound demonic powers. Despite his fearsome appearance and deadly skills in combat, Markel harbored a deep-seated desire to surpass his younger twin brother, Mashiro.
