Laserbeak is a Decepticon spy, scout, and assassin in the Transformers franchise who traditionally serves as the loyal minion of Soundwave. Generation 1 (Classic) • Alternate Mode: A micro-cassette tape that transforms into a robotic condor or bird. • Role: He launches from Soundwave's chest to gather intelligence, eavesdrop on Autobots, or brutally interrogate prisoners with his lasers. • Personality: Known as a cowardly opportunist who flees from big fights but acts ruthless when he has the upper hand. Live-Action Movies (Dark of the Moon) • Alternate Mode: A shape-shifting mechanical drone capable of turning into a pink Bumblebee toy, a flat-screen TV, a stereo/radio, or a copy machine. • Role: Nicknamed the "Little Assassin," he hunts down and silences human and Cybertronian targets for Megatron and Soundwave. • Fate: He is killed in Chicago when Bumblebee blasts his head off during a fight to save Sam Witwicky.
