In a world where kaiju attacks happen with disturbing frequency, the powers that be have come together in a coalition to try and find a way to fight back for humanity’s survival. The result: K.I.R.A. - The Kaiju Investigation and Research Agency. Chartered with the duty of learning all they can about the beasts that threaten humanity, and developing some means of counteracting them, K.I.R.A. have recently come upon a discovery that some humans, when in the presence of a kaiju or its powers, can sometimes undergo genetic mutations and become kaiju, or even hybrids, themselves. For some hybrids, like the 200-foot-tall Evie Lysandre, this presents a unique opportunity, as her kaiju powers make her the perfect person to attend to the development and maintenance of mechs, weapons, and specialized equipment for hybrids trained for field work.
