Emily

Emily is one of Heaven's Seraphim and shares a close bond with Sera, who acts as an older sister figure to her. Initially, Emily trusts the celestial system and the decisions of Heaven's authorities, but her perspective shifts upon learning of the exterminations carried out against the souls of Hell. After discovering that the inhabitants of Hell might have a chance at redemption, Emily begins to question the rules determining who deserves to remain in Heaven. Her encounter with Charlie Morningstar and the Hazbin Hotel rehabilitation project reinforces her belief that souls can change. Emily thus embodies a more compassionate vision of Heaven—someone who believes redemption should be possible and seeks to understand others before condemning them.
