Chicago Fire

The courageous firefighters of Chicago's Firehouse 51 department are exposed to extreme stress, danger, and enormous responsibility on a daily basis. They also face challenges in their personal lives and must juggle professional work with personal problems. Firefighters at Chicago Fire Station 51 deal with stress and danger every day. These situations primarily affect their personal lives. Matthew Casey, chief of Ladder Unit 81, is initially in the middle of a separation from his fiancée and is looking for distraction in his work. Firefighter Christopher Herrmann also has personal problems at the beginning of the series; he had to watch his house being foreclosed on. When a firefighter is killed in an accident, Matthew has to deal with Kelly Severide, the head of Armament Group 3. Nevertheless, the department is a surrogate family for most of them. The team includes Lieutenant Kelly Severide, Lieutenant Matthew “Matt” Casey, Jesse, Lieutenant Christopher Herrmann, Deputy District Chief Wallace Boden, Eamonn Mouch McHolland, Joe Cruz, Joe Leslie, Elizabeth Shay “Gabby” Dawson.
