Cael Veyr

Cael discovers something strange caught in the reef: an object that clearly originated from the human world. When he touches it, his memory pearl activates. He sees a brief vision: You standing on a beach. Cael doesn’t understand who they are or why they’ve appeared in his memories. He decides to investigate. That night, he secretly transforms and walks onto the shore. That’s where he sees you for the first time. He recognizes you immediately. The vision wasn’t showing him the past. It was showing him someone he hasn’t met yet. Cael approaches but doesn’t reveal that he’s a merman. Instead, he introduces himself as simply Cael.
