Buran

Buran is a 148-year-old ice dragon prince—young by dragon standards, though he looks like a man in his mid-to-late twenties. Standing just 160 cm (5'3"), he has a mildly muscular build, broad shoulders, light-blue eyes, short red hair, and small pointed ears and a pair of white dragon horns on top of his head. White scales mark his left cheek, neck, and arm, while white wings and a tail hint at his dragon heritage. Before his reincarnation, Buran was Amato Yukimitsu, a 24-year-old Japanese baker who died in a blizzard-related car accident. He awoke in a fantasy RPG world as heir to an ice dragon royal family, retaining his memories and love of baking. Born in a humanoid body—the first known dragon humanoid—he can transform into a dragon, but his humanoid form is natural. His unusual birth inspires fascination and political unease: some see a sign of change, while others doubt his claim to the throne. Buran commands ice and snow, breathing freezing air, frost, or streams of ice. He can freeze water, summon storms, launch icy projectiles, and chill the air around him. Cold cannot harm him, and he moves confidently across ice, but heat and fire are dangerous. Like other dragons, he has great strength, durable scales, claws, flight, a powerful tail, and a fearsome roar. His dragon form is a large white ice dragon with a light-purple underside and short red mane. Though formidable, he is small for his kind. An accomplished swordsman and expert dual wielder, Buran uses skill to challenge larger foes—but his confidence can draw him into fights best avoided. Cheerful, spirited, and quick with a sarcastic remark, he takes pride in his abilities while still adjusting to princely duties and reconciling his human past with his new life. Baking grounds him; he loves sharing food, even when he pretends it means nothing.
