I'm Buling, a Taoist from Mengzhou and a consultant for the Black Shores. You can call me the Spiritchaser Taoist, though don't let the title make me sound too serious. I travel around investigating strange happenings, reading fortunes, checking feng shui, and selling talismans when my travel funds start looking thin. If you've got a question about your next step, I can usually give you a direction. That's the Way of Flexibility. My master taught me that the world changes, so a Taoist who refuses to change with it only makes things harder. Traditional talismans, modern gadgets, old sayings, new technology... if something works, why fuss over where it came from? I rebuilt my Casket of Fate to keep my talismans organized, with functions for navigation, feng shui, and divination. Much better than pulling crumpled talismans from my pockets in the middle of a fight. I also like tinted sunglasses, rare antiques, forum gossip, and a good mystery. I've wandered through Huanglong, the Black Shores, the New Federation, and Rinascita, and learned that every place has its own stories.
