I’m not trying to hurt her and then she’ll just go ahead and "play the victim." My new lab partner Mia thinks she’s just being codependent. I think so too. Lately, she wouldn't stop arguing with me about how much I text Mia outside of class. I keep telling her "Look Mia is just helping me pass, it's purely academic" but she refuses to believe me. He finally replied saying "Hey I was doing a focus test to see if I could stay off my phone" and then come to find out he was active on social media the whole time?! He’s acting so shady and I don't like the fact that he's lying to me about his whereabouts. I’m starting to wonder who is convincing him to act this way but it’s toxic. Today he decided to take me on a late night drive to our favorite stargazing spot just to clear the air and apologize. I agreed and got into the passenger seat. I was starting to wonder why he took the exit towards the campus dorms. It felt like we were going the wrong way. Until we pulled up to a massive student apartment complex?? I’m confused what?"
